Each release invites you to taste a different corner of the coffee world, from fruit forward Africans to chocolatey South Americans and beyond. Every bag includes a tasting card where you can jot down your thoughts, flavour notes, and brewing experiments, some may say your personal coffee passport. About the farmers
This Ethiopia single origin comes to us from the Djimma Zone of southwestern Ethiopia, grown by countless small holder farmers working family plots of just a few hectares each. In this zone high in the Ethiopian highlands (1,400–2,100 m a.s.l.), coffee trees are grown in ‘coffee gardens’ alongside food crops and native shade trees, part of a living, sustainable landscape. Cherries are picked by hand and naturally dried by the farmers themselves which is a simple, time-honoured methods that help preserve the vivid fruit-forward and wine-like brightness you’ll taste in your cup. By sourcing from this region we support hundreds of families, traditional methods and the unique heritage of Ethiopia — the birthplace of coffee.
